Ok so you have just heard of HHO gas or ‘running your car using water’ right? Actually HHO gas has been around for a few decades but is just now becoming more mainstream due to rising gas prices and more demand on alternative fuel sources.

So the natural first question to answer is: What is HHO?

A: Wikipedia defines HHO or Oxyhydrogen as: a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water.This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials.

Ok this all sounds great but is HHO danerous?

A: It is NOT DANGEROUS as long as you follow the guidelines and do everything as you’re supposed to. You will not BLOW UP as the HHO that you produce in the fuel cell is extracted and then used on demand, so there is no chance of it blowing up. Also nothing is pressurized, there are no pressurized containers filled with hydrogen fuel so you don’t have to worry about anything going off like a bomb. If we were to store the HHO and pressurize the container then there would be cause for concern as a spark of any sort would set it off – the way WE do it, there is NO CHANCE OF AN EXPLOSION. I hope that puts a few minds at rest for those who think hydrogen = danger – it does not.

Three ss tubes inside, 12 inches tall, Negative Cathode in the middle, Neutral, Positive Anode. The is mounted on the outside so I can Demonstrate it to the public. It turns heads. I welded a trailer hitch mounting bar to the front tow hook and put the cell on it. I am using a PWM for pulsed DC - so I had to isolate the PWM 12 volt Motor Negative from the chassis ground. The electrical parts I describe in the video are the same parts listed in my video on Electrical Parts. Visit my website, hho4free, to learn more about the parts and where to obtain them. The cell is very safe. I do not use a bubbler, by design. There are 4 inches of free space above the water to handle foam, if there is any. As you can see in the video, there is no foam. The tubes are Magnetically Aligned. That propels the HHO to the surface and out the hose. Since the HHO is fed into the Intake Manifold, the motor pistons suck the HHO from the cell - creating 30 pounds of vacuum. I use a brass valve to adjust the vacuum down to 15 pounds PSI. The cell produces 1 to 2 liters of HHO per minute; depending on the PWM adjustment - which I monitor and change from the dash board. Using HHO as an additive to assist with the burning of the gasoline, the 1994 GEO Tracker gets 35 MPG. Without the HHO, it gets 24 MPG. That is a 45.84% increase.

Crude prices sink after a call for renewed talks about Tehran’s nuclear program overshadows conflict between Russia and Georgia that could threaten a critical oil pipeline.

Gas prices The price of gasoline in the United States, the world’s largest crude consumer, has fallen for 25 straight days to a nationwide average of $3.81, according to motorist group AAA. The price is more than 30 cents below the record of $4.114 a gallon set July 16.

Oil prices fell Monday after Iran called for renewed nuclear talks and China reported a decline in crude imports, countering threats to supplies in Eastern Europe from the Georgia-Russia conflict.

U.S. crude for September delivery fell 75 cents to settle at $114.45 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, extending a multi-week slide that has knocked oil 22%, or about $34, from its peak.

Crude briefly dipped below $113 Monday before recovering some ground later in the session.

Friday, May 9th, 2008 At 5:30pm starting in Santa Monica, 28 bicyclists took surface streets to the 1-10 Fwy at Bundy and rode 0.44 miles to the I-405 N on-ramp and rode another 1.56 miles to the Santa Monica Blvd. exit during rush hour. The ramp to the I-405 N was a steep grade and 0.65 miles in length. Riders spanned a total of 2.0 freeway miles. The group of riders also hung a 20'x6' banner on the 17th street overpass overlooking the eastbound I-10 Freeway in Santa Monica that read RIDE A BIKE YOU'D BE HOME BY NOW. The sign remained in place for over 48 hours. Mission While the ride's political stance and agenda was neutral, many participants invoked the group's collective motto: "If you rode a bicycle, you'd be home by now!" -- a statement against oil dependency, in support of sustainable living and a collective critique of the Los Angeles transportation infrastructure.
