Ok so you have just heard of HHO gas or ‘running your car using water’ right? Actually HHO gas has been around for a few decades but is just now becoming more mainstream due to rising gas prices and more demand on alternative fuel sources.

So the natural first question to answer is: What is HHO?

A: Wikipedia defines HHO or Oxyhydrogen as: a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water.This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials.

Now what are the benefits of HHO gas?

You will not BLOW UP as the HHO that you produce in the fuel cell is extracted and then used on demand, so there is no chance of it blowing up. Also nothing is pressurized, there are no pressurized containers filled with hydrogen fuel so you don’t have to worry about anything going off like a bomb. If we were to store the HHO and pressurize the container then there would be cause for concern as a spark of any sort would set it off – the way WE do it, there is NO CHANCE OF AN EXPLOSION. I hope that puts a few minds at rest for those who think hydrogen = danger – it does not.

Plates 6x6x1mm. This cell is not yet tested. I fried my 35 amp power supply and my amp meter does not go over 20 amps. it makes 1.3lpm cold at 10v, amps i'm guessing they must be around 21A. it fills a 240ml bottle in 11sec. I will have a new amp meter in a few days so i will see then. Also i have two more ports in the back ( water in and gas out ) so that will make two in and two out. I tested it at 9.2v 10a 49.5 sec 500ml and it had a 6.59mmw but that seems to have gone down at the higher amps. i hope adding the gas out that this will bring the mmw back up. The pwm should give the mmw a boost also when i have a power supply that works ok.

Here's the latest on my Hydroxy assisted 71 VW Bug. So far the results have been impressive, to say the least. I got documented proof of at least 43.9 mpg just a few days ago, and I'm getting nowhere near the efficiency that the cell is actually capable of, since my electrolyte is fairly weak at 4 tablespoons of Sodium Bicarbonate per gallon of water and I also have no PWM to effectively control the current draw of the cell (yet). I ordered a bare PC board from ZeroFossilFuel (thanks guy!) and have some of the stuff to assemble it, but I still need some key components to finish it up. Pretty soon, pretty soon... A little info on the engine for the benefit of Ehnriko and any other VW enthusiasts :-) Stock case with a counterbalanced stock stroke crank, reduced size power pulley, 87 mm. jugs with teflon coated slipper pistons, shot peened high strength rods with high tension rod bolts, Engle W-100 street cam 420 lift 276 duration 108 degree lobe centers. Straight cut steel cam gears, Custom heads with stainless steel valves (40mm intake, 35.5mm exh.) and small chambers, swivel-foot valve lash adjusters, 13.5 lb. flywheel, dual 40mm Kadron carbs with 125 mains, mild porting work on heads and intake manifolds, high volume oil pump with filter, Bosch 009 distributor with Pertronix electronic ignition and Bosch blue coil. Makes about 105 - 110 hp. in the current configuration. Redline's around 5800 rpm. Best rpm for best mileage is around 3000-3200 = abt. 60-65 mph. ;-) The car ...

I have been working on a Dry Cell or SSC (Sealed Series Cell) design for a YEAR now for my mustang. I finally came up with a design that meet and exceeds my design criteria. 1) It has to be capable of 2 Litter per minute or better of production. 2) Draw less than 25 amps while producing 2 Litter per minute. By using two individual cell sandwiched together with the magnetic fields aligned, a spacing of 3/32, and a High electrolyte concentration I was able to meet my goals. The cell has 14 plates total. They are 6 x 6 inches. The cell draws 35 amps straight DC but is current limited with a constant current PWM set at 21 Amps. The cell reaches a maximum of 110 Deg on a hot day. I am using a digital EFIE set at 0.22 volts added. I do not have any modifications to the MAP sensor. The MAP sensor is frequency based and I can not find a MAP enhancer for my specific application. The Fuel Pre-Heater is still installed and working fine. I am currently getting 43 MPG Highway. My stock MPG is 28-29 before HHO . The Modification have raised my Fuel Efficiency by 53%. The car drives and runs just like it were stock with the exception that I am not saving money and not producing any pollution as shown at the end of the video. I know this Technology to be Fact and I Demonstrate that HHO WORK every time I dive my car. Probably the first HHO-enhanced Toyota Revo Sport Runner 1.8 EFi Gasoline engined SUV in the Philippines. Hyper 7 - system 1 installed. No Flashback Arrestor needed, No blow up valves, No Relay Switch, No PCV Valves, No PWM, No EFIE, No MAP enhancers. THe difficult thing to do is reduce the idling speed to it's minimum. Increasing the air passage into the vacuum port after the throttle body naturally raises the idling... this is a good thing if inducing hydroxy gas is the objective. But not being able to reduce the idling speed defeats the purpose. So I adjusted the idling with the idling screw and the hydroxy inducement flow with a pressure regulator ball valve. The ticking sound of the engine disappeared afterwards... and it was purring like an electric rotor later on... like there's no mechanical movements inside... and more silent. It's just amazing. The Exhaust Emission also tells you a lot how an engine is doing. Most Race Car experienced drivers do this... (whats happens inside the engine - is manifested outside the end pipe.)

Gas prices The price of gasoline in the United States, the world’s largest crude consumer, has fallen for 25 straight days to a nationwide average of $3.81, according to motorist group AAA. The price is more than 30 cents below the record of $4.114 a gallon set July 16.

Oil prices fell Monday after Iran called for renewed nuclear talks and China reported a decline in crude imports, countering threats to supplies in Eastern Europe from the Georgia-Russia conflict.

U.S. crude for September delivery fell 75 cents to settle at $114.45 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, extending a multi-week slide that has knocked oil 22%, or about $34, from its peak.

Crude briefly dipped below $113 Monday before recovering some ground later in the session.

So far no American media outlet had comprehensively covered it and even the local press's approach has left a lot to be desired. No one seemed to even know what it was. It's strange that as we hit peak oil and the global oil reserves go on the decline, we have heard next to nothing about the fact that Canada, due to improved oil extraction technology and record oil prices, is poised to become a major player in the geopolitical market place. The big question going in is what does this sudden access to previously unobtainable oil mean? Is this our get out of jail free card for the present energy crisis or is it another pipe dream being hyped up by the very corporations and lobbyists who stand to gain the most from it? Traveling through the haze of Ft. McMurray did nothing but fortify our stance on fossil fuel. It's dirty, expensive, and--most importantly--nonrenewable. Al Gore recently likened the oil sands to a drug pusher, satisfying our jones for quick and cheap energy. Say what you will about pushers (at least they're not kicking out greenhouse gasses to the tune of 80 million kilograms a day), but we think he's got us and our jones pretty much square on the head. Nov 2007 Demand for biofuels like corn-based ethanol is leading to soaring food prices and political instability. The price of wheat and corn has doubled, hitting the poor particularly hard. Backed by generous government subsidies, the ethanol industry is on a mission to "reduce our dependency on imported oil". Its insatiable demand for corn is "driving world commodity markets", pushing up global prices. Prices of eggs, meat and diary products have also shot up because corn is used in animal feed. "A lot of pork farmers could lose money because of high feed costs", complains farmer Randy Hilleman. But it's the poor, whose staple diet is grains, who will be most affected. "The grain it requires to fill a 25-gallon SUV tank with ethanol will feed one person for a year", explains Lester Brown, Earth Policy Institute. The ethanol boom could create unprecedented global insecurity. Already tortilla prices in Mexico have increased 60%, prompting people to take to the streets. Sceptics question if ethanol can reduce America's dependence on imported oil. Even if America's entire corn crop was converted to fuel, it would only displace 15 per cent of petrol consumption. As most ethanol plants are powered by coal, doubts have also been cast on its green credentials. Upbeat after a cordial reception, Chavez said Russia would be welcome to deploy military bases in his country.
