Ok so you have just heard of HHO gas or ‘running your car using water’ right? Actually HHO gas has been around for a few decades but is just now becoming more mainstream due to rising gas prices and more demand on alternative fuel sources.

So the natural first question to answer is: What is HHO?

A: Wikipedia defines HHO or Oxyhydrogen as: a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water.This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials.

Now what are the benefits of HHO gas?

A: HHO greatly increase the fuel efficiency of cars in which it is used. HHO gas is created through a simple process of electrolysis – the car does not run just on HHO but rather a hybrid of gasoline and HHO which powers the car. HHO has been shown to increase fuel efficiency by as much as 60% in some cases.

What are some common uses of HHO Gas?

A: HHO can be used in torches which are used ion the manufacturing processes of refractory material. Limelights are another application of HHO where light is produced by heating lime. HHO can be explosive and for this reason, limelights have for the most part been phased out in favor of electric lighting.

What are some current methods HHO gas is being used on cars?

A: HHO has been pressed into service helping cars to run on water. There are many manuals on doing this conversion available online which can give you step by step instructions in making your own HHO kits and installing them in your vehicle. Ok this all sounds great but is HHO danerous?

A: It is NOT DANGEROUS as long as you follow the guidelines and do everything as you’re supposed to. You will not BLOW UP as the HHO that you produce in the fuel cell is extracted and then used on demand, so there is no chance of it blowing up. Also nothing is pressurized, there are no pressurized containers filled with hydrogen fuel so you don’t have to worry about anything going off like a bomb. If we were to store the HHO and pressurize the container then there would be cause for concern as a spark of any sort would set it off – the way WE do it, there is NO CHANCE OF AN EXPLOSION. I hope that puts a few minds at rest for those who think hydrogen = danger – it does not.

After looking around I have come up with a newer design to go into my HHO generators instead of 6 plates -+-+-+. I am going to 7 plates -n+n+n- this set up in very close proximity creates an extreeme abundance of HHO at very low amps. In regular baking soda and water after a full hr of use still did not draw 10 amps. With lye as shown in the video it did get up to 38 amps in a short time. But with almost an windstorm of HHO a 30 amp pwm would work great. Working with my version of Dave Lawton's PWM, distilled water, 1/8 tsp of baking soda and a design cell I saw on SirHoax's video. Thank you SirHoax and all the people how put the info on the web. I have no tech. school training, I'm self taught. I have no chemistry schooling, but can observe. The lugs on the cell are rusting, they will be replaced with stainless steal straps. The cell is operating between 11 to 12 volts at 0 amp ungated. I turned the amperage up to show that the meter is on and working. Can anyone tell me what cameras you use to make these video's? It is also important that the printed circuit board doesnt bottom out on the interior of the enclosure when drawing up the knob shaft stem or the potentiometer may break off of the printed circuit board. Crude prices sink after a call for renewed talks about Tehran’s nuclear program overshadows conflict between Russia and Georgia that could threaten a critical oil pipeline.

Gas prices The price of gasoline in the United States, the world’s largest crude consumer, has fallen for 25 straight days to a nationwide average of $3.81, according to motorist group AAA. The price is more than 30 cents below the record of $4.114 a gallon set July 16.

Oil prices fell Monday after Iran called for renewed nuclear talks and China reported a decline in crude imports, countering threats to supplies in Eastern Europe from the Georgia-Russia conflict.

U.S. crude for September delivery fell 75 cents to settle at $114.45 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, extending a multi-week slide that has knocked oil 22%, or about $34, from its peak.

Crude briefly dipped below $113 Monday before recovering some ground later in the session.

Early Mining The southeastern part of Cape Breton Island is home to the Sydney Coal Field, an extensive underground coal seam extending at an angle from the shore beneath the seafloor of the Cabot Strait. This large deposit of high-sulphur coal was first extracted by French soldiers from Fortress Louisbourg in 1720 at nearby Port Morien. A major coal industry developed during the 19th century, becoming the largest energy project in British North America at its height of production. The largest integrated steel mill in the British Commonwealth was constructed on Sydney Harbor in 1901. The coal and steel industries went into decline following World War II and never fully recovered. They were nationalized by the federal and provincial governments during the late 1960s with the intention of closing them by the 1980s, however production increased in the 1970s as a result of rising world oil and steel prices. By the 1990s, environmental degradation (see Sydney Tar Ponds) and economic ruin was facing the industrial Cape Breton region. The steel mill and last coal mine were closed in 2001 and the area has been struggling to adapt.
