Why are Hydrogen Gas Savers all the rage?

While most people (including yours truly) are looking for tips to save gas you will most likely come across information about using a hydrogen gas saver system. But what exactly do these systems do. A short answer is that hydrogen gas savers are designed to give an additional power-up to your existing fuel injection to maximize your gas mileage.

These Systems Can Extract Oxygen and Hydrogen

The idea is to create HHO Gas which is seperating the hydrogen from the oxygen creating a powerful gas. When the cells are warmed they can draw between 2.4 and 2.9 amps per cell. Thus creating better gas mileage, better torque, decreased emissions and a cleaner burn inside the engine reducing deposits and general wear.

You can also refer to these devices as hydrogen generators or HHO booster devices, these hydrogen gas savers are based upon simple electrolysis of water. For the most part these systems require an electrolyte be added to assist in the creation of electricity. Hydrogen gas savers have been in production for many years now but are now getting more exposure due to the increase in oil, gas prices and the slagging economy in the USA.

One such example of a hydrogen gas saver in my local backyard if from a guy named Larry Thrasher which came up with is own gas saving device. In July 2008 he was on the local news channels where they covered him creating a system that took his 1996 Cadillac from 19 to 53mpg. He also has a 1996 Toyota that gets 71mpg. How to Add your Own Hydrogen Gas Saver to your Car

While there are many gas saver manuals floating around the web, none of them cover how to convert water for gas or how to run your car on water.

The best manual I found so far is called Water4Gas and the author Ozzie Freedom has clearly demonistrated his passion for letting all of us know about converting your gas engines to run HHO gas or hydrogen. It is worth looking into to start saving on gas, lowering your gas bill, and to start burning cleaner emissions.

Florida Power & Light Company changed the Space Coast skyline on Aug. 22 by demolishing the most visible structures at its 42-acre, 45-year-old Cape Canaveral Power Plant. It is preparing to build the Cape Canaveral Next Generation Clean Energy Center, which will open in 2013. The Next Generation Clean Energy Center is expected to generate an additional million in tax revenue in its first full year of operation: .3 million for Brevard County schools, .8 million for Brevard County; and .6 million for other taxing authorities. FPL's Next Generation Clean Energy Center will use about 33 percent less fuel per megawatt of power generated with advanced combined-cycle, natural gas technology capable of producing 1250 megawatts of electricity, or enough to power 250000 homes and businesses. Three sleeker stacks, half as high as those taken down today, will emit 88 percent fewer air particulates and 50 percent less carbon dioxide without any additional water or land use. In addition, the site is designed to meet US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification and to feature rooftop solar panels and an electric car recharging station. Twenty-three days after EnCana completed hydraulic fracturing operations on the F11E, the liner is removed, some of the sludge is pumped out and the remainder - perhaps 70 barrels or more - is dozed in. The pad overlies a spring that often surfaces here. It is fed by a shallow groundwater aquifer that supplies water to West Divide Creek and a family's private water well located maybe 200 yards away. An irrigation ditch is located approximately 30 feet from the East end of the pit. If one of the pumper trucks had overturned on the county road, spilling this stuff into the environment, a hazardous materials unit would have responded, sequestered the area, potentially evacuated citizens and employed measures to safeguard first responders, citizens and the environment. But because this is a hydraulic fracturing waste pit, out of sight of the public and on private land (owned, coincidently, by EnCana) it is simply covered up. This same site - if it were at a gas station or a paper mill or a chemical manufacturing plant - would likely be a violation and require extensive clean-up and proper disposal at a licensed facility... as it should. I didnt on the account that firstly the mountains head was in the clouds and secondly there was an annoying (if small) amount of wind. Even more annoying as the plaque said the lake was usually mirror still at dawn. Set a timelapse up as it looked like the morning clouds would burn off. They didnt! But while I was figuring that out I amuzed myself building a little damn on the outflow of a stream flowing into the lake. The onto Paradise, and its namesake is pretty close to the mark. Called home, and had an edifying chat about volcanos with a ranger. Turns out I was wrong about the gas content of the cascades, its 95 % water! (I thought it was mostly CO2). Wandered around the paths in the back of Paradise for a couple of hours.
