Still, there are many who believe that the technology is actually too expensive to invest in and that hybrid cars are just not powerful or spacious enough for their needs. Gas fuels almost everything that moves. We all know we need it. But we also know that it is fast becoming a depleted
resource. Personal vehicles these days can consume up to
140 billion gallons of gas and diesel fuel in a year and these numbers don’t seem like they are falling at all.

Gas prices, contrary to its availability, is always increasing, though. This should be the cause of concern for anybody who owns a gas-powered vehicle. This is one of the signs that should trigger the notion that more people should buy into the idea of hybrid cars.

Emissions And The Environment

So your current car is not much of a smoke belcher. This is not enough of an argument to go against the fact that there are dangerous emissions that are released as your car burns the fuel it needs to move. A new incentive for hybrid car users came in 2006 in the form of full-dollar tax credit. This made it even more valuable for car buyers to buy hybrids when compared to the reductions of taxable income when purchasing regular cars.
More specifically, buyers who purchased, for example, a Toyota or Lexus hybrid before October 1 2006 qualified for a 100 percent tax credit. Those who bought Toyota hybrids after that date received a tax credit equal to 50 percent of the amount that they spent.

The biggest reason to get into the hybrid trend really is that it is a life-changing experience in more ways than one.

Crosscage's air cooled fuel cell designed by British company Intelligent Energy helps slim down this design by eliminating the need for a radiator or coolant system. Located just above the hydrogen fuel tank, the fuel cell is very compact, light, and powerful. It sends power to the motor controller which stores it in the lithium ion battery or sends it to the motor. Through combining oxygen in the air and hydrogen from the fuel tank to create power this motorcycle's exhaust is only water vapor thus helping reduce CO2 emissions and protect the environment. On a single tank of hydrogen the crosscage can travel about 200km and has the power equivalent of 125ccs. The crosscage from which the motorcycle gets its name is not merely an aesthetic choice but also protects the hydrogen fuel tank which is located directly behind the intersecting point. There is also a sensor at the top of the chassis which constantly checks for hydrogen leaks and shuts off the fuel tank if there are any abnormalities.

We drove from Texas to Ontario, Canada on approximately three tanks of gas (Read: We stopped for fuel three times, but we did not drive it to empty each time and the last tank we barely used anything- so about 3.2 tanks all together.) I edited out minor stops like food and bathroom, but left in major ones like sleeping and fuel. For those asking how many MPG we got- it was approximately 43-45 Which I know isn't THAT spectacular considering the new hybrids (and even just the new more efficient cars,) but it's amazingly good compared to the Ford we used to drive. We also did a lot of driving around the towns we stopped at for the night but didn't show this in the video- it's included in our gas consumption though, which would raise the average still. What about the other various types of game modes in Undercover? From straight up racing to the chase oriented Wanted events, Undercover cuts no corners. Circuits, Sprints and Checkpoints have all made a return and see little differences from thier original counterparts as one would expect. Afterall, you can't really change much in a straight up race now can you? Though these modes are simple by nature they are extremely fun, allowing you to push you vehicle above and beyond the limits of it's performance as you fly down the streets of Tri-City at 250 MPH. Outrun also returns to the Need for Speed franchise for the first time since the famed Underground series though it did make a sort of cameo appearance in Carbon as a Rival Crew Challenge (Random Encounter). Unlike Outrun of the past where the win condition was a predetermined amount of distance that you would need to pull ahead of your opponent. In Undercover, Outrun is built upon the same basic fundamentals. You'll still want to achieve a massive lead over your opponent. The win condition, however, is different. You'll instead need to hold your lead for one full mintue.
