HHO gas kits produce hydroxy gas or browns gas through a process called electrolysis. The HHO fuel cell is filled with water and a catalyst such as baking soda or bread soda added to the water helps produce the gas when electrical current is produced. A "reactor" I made from (not so pure) stainless steel plates - sort of "strainers", the ones used to prevent objeccts falling into the sink's drain. Water is from de-humidifier (a little bit of baking soda is added as electrolyte). There are 8 plates, with holes on the surface (to allow the gas flow). I know that anything you put in the water as electrolyte releases byproducts, but without a "resonator" ("pulsing" electronic device) it's difficult to acheive HHo gas from water by DC without using A LOT of power - and I'm no rocket sientist with electronics... I made this video only to demonstrate to a friend how drilled plates worked. No measurements, no goals, no calculations on it.

The surface area and the distance between the tubes plays a big factor in your gas production. The closer the spacing, the less resistance there will be from tube to tube, thus more current can flow, thus more gas can be produced. Adding electrolites to the water lowers the resistance even more, wich causes it to produce more gas. We add Sodium Hydroxide in small amounts, a little at a time, and monitor the current (amperage). Ohms Law is working here, not rocket science, but it does require some experimenting. The cell runing in the video is using 15 amps. I have run as much as 60 amps on it. But my 60 amp alternator can not handle that for long periods unless it can be kept cool. I have not provide all of the answers for you here, but I do hope I have stired your interest. Hydrogen SMeyer Tubes in Tap Water - No Electrolyte (PWM)

Just going over some concepts of pulsing the Stanley Meyer tubes with no electrolyte and straight tap water. Appears to work very well for regulating our amperage where before we had no control over the levels being administered to the hho-cell. Spacing between the tubes is about 1/8" Voltage is around 24VDC. Amperage varies due to pulsing of the circuit. The tubes are still being acclimated (broken -in) so that is why you see the red-scummy water in the bath. This was most likely due to dumping all the amperage through the cell in the earlier video. Started to remove the impurities in the metal, unsure of the grade with these tubes. Review / Wavetek Frequency Generator (Model 186) 5MHz Phaselock Loop. Also, OWON PDS-5022S Dual-channel Colour Digital Storage Oscilliscope 25MHz 100MS/s In this video there is no pulse width modulation due to using the LAWTON style switching. This is just some thing I have been working on now for a while and thought I just thought I would share some info. The plates are Home Depot blank wall plates. There are 11 total and they are spaced with 1/16th nylon washers. The plate configuration is +nnnn-nnnn+. I'm using steam distilled water with no electrolyt but will be trying it with electrolyt soon. There is 80volts DC across the plates. My theory is that pulsed high voltage DC is more efficient than just 12 volts DC. I think the Pochintwin videos demonstrate this quite clearly. However I have noticed that the water temp rises faster and the HHO is more power full than with 12volts and baking soda! The reason I'm not using my PWM to drive the toroid is because the frequency that it can put out is to hi to drive such a large transformer / inductor. The magnetic field saturates and it just gets hot! So I will be modifying my PWM to run at a much lower frequency. If your wondering were I got my toroid, I got it from a military parts surplus store.

Brown’s Gas Conversion Kits

HHO gas car kits are the latest innovation to increase gas mileage, increase power and improve your car or trucks emissions. This is quite interesting using what they call HH2 gas, this company is working on using water to power cars or weld things. Currently they have a test vehicle which runs as a hybrid with water and fuel but they say they can run exclusively on water alone... While the technology may not be as unique or breakthrough as the reporter and company spokesman claim (it seems to be based on an electrolytic process commonly known as "Brown's Gas."), it's still a great story to watch, and then do some fun follow-up research on. I wish there was some more info about this but for now this video will do. Hopefully we can see this technology in service sooner then later.
