This is quite interesting using what they call HH2 gas, this company is working on using water to power cars or weld things. Currently they have a test vehicle which runs as a hybrid with water and fuel but they say they can run exclusively on water alone... While the technology may not be as unique or breakthrough as the reporter and company spokesman claim (it seems to be based on an electrolytic process commonly known as "Brown's Gas."), it's still a great story to watch, and then do some fun follow-up research on. I wish there was some more info about this but for now this video will do. Hopefully we can see this technology in service sooner then later.

There are a lot of Bad Robot alumni involved in this one, but Reeves is the guy I'm most interested in at the moment. He's directed episodes of shows like FELICITY, CONVICTION, HOMICIDE, and RELATIVITY, and he was the guy who directed the pilot for MIRACLES in 2003. I love the notion of a giant monster movie that's all being shot from the POV of handheld video cameras, like a real event unfolding, and I wish him well with this one. Now I just need to see that teaser finally. Remember... when you see it, there's no title on it yet. That's because the film doesn't have a name at the moment, or if it does, that's been kept completely hush-hush. For now, CLOVERFIELD is just what they're calling it to help confuse the issue. I'm itching for someone over there to finally break their silence and speak up, 'cause I'd love to know more. Currently, little is known about Need for Speed: ProStreet, and nothing is for sure. According to early rumours, it will include some of the things not included in Need for Speed: Carbon, such as drag racing. It is also said that it will feature advanced graphics, with special attention given to the next-generation graphical capabilities of the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The game engine will be built from scratch as opposed to refining an older engine, and suitable for today's fast systems. NFS XI will also transition from the arcade-like racing of previous titles in the NFS series to more realistic racing, making a hybrid of the two. The rumours also suggest that Autosculpt from NFS: Carbon will be back and improved.

We drove from Texas to Ontario, Canada on approximately three tanks of gas (Read: We stopped for fuel three times, but we did not drive it to empty each time and the last tank we barely used anything- so about 3.2 tanks all together.) I edited out minor stops like food and bathroom, but left in major ones like sleeping and fuel. For those asking how many MPG we got- it was approximately 43-45 Which I know isn't THAT spectacular considering the new hybrids (and even just the new more efficient cars,) but it's amazingly good compared to the Ford we used to drive. We also did a lot of driving around the towns we stopped at for the night but didn't show this in the video- it's included in our gas consumption though, which would raise the average still.
